Anslow, Rolleston and Tutbury Churches
** Important announcement**
In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued a statement today (17 March 2020) calling for all Church of England churches to immediately suspend public worship until further notice.
Our 3 churches – Holy Trinity Anslow, St Mary’s Tutbury and St Mary’s Rolleston on Dove, will adhere to this national directive, upholding the Government and Public Health guidelines, and will immediately stop our normal patterns of Sunday services and midweek meetings.
Online resources are being made available on the National Church website (link below) and we will offer links to these via our social media channels. A simple service of Morning or Evening Prayer with the Sunday Lectionary readings is available in our churches or can be emailed from Phyllis.
There are many specific questions, especially around weddings and funerals, still to be answered and we will ensure that updates are provided as soon as these are available.
Please be assured of our continuing prayers as this unprecedented time in our history unfolds, and we will ensure that regular updates are provided.
From Revd Phyllis Bainbridge, Revd Ashley Hines, Revd Dave Robbins and the team of Wardens, Jackie, Margaret, Barry, Pat and Carol.
Due to the Coronavirus/Covid-19 outbreak, Saturday morning Priory Pantry has been suspended for the foreseeable future – thank you for your past custom and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.
