REMEMBRANCE BEACON LIGHTING AT TUTBURY CASTLE

Sunday 11th November 2018 – 7.00 p.m.

A commemorative beacon will be lit on Remembrance Day to make the 100th anniversary of the First World War and this will be part of the national chain of beacons being lit at the same time.

Tutbury Castle will be open (free admission) for people to come and witness the occasion.  Car parking is also free.

Dress warmly and wear sensible footwear.  Come in costume if you wish!

Gates open at 6.00 p.m.  Bring a photograph of anyone who served in the First World War and put the person’s name on the reverse.  Please make sure you put your own name and telephone number as well just in case any photographs are inadvertently left behind.  They will then be returned to the rightful owner.

Refreshments will be available.

ALL WELCOME!
