Pets in the Pews. A Celebration of Pet Companionship – bring your pet along, or if that’s not possible a photo
On 21st October the parishes of Anslow, Rolleston and Tutbury will be joining together for Pets in the Pews, a Celebration of Pet Companionship, at St Mary’s Priory Church, Tutbury, at 3.00p.m. Pets and their owners are invited to come to St Mary’s for a service to give thanks for all they mean to each other. All animals will be invited to receive an individual blessing with their owners.
All pets are welcome. We just ask that they will either be on a lead or in some sort of cage or other container and that they are kept under control. Larger animals such as horses are also invited, but we ask that they stay outside in the doorway.
If anyone would like to come, but feels that their pet might not agree, please bring a photograph of the pet. Similarly anyone whose pet has died might like to bring a photograph.
After the service refreshments will be available for humans and animals. We hope that everyone will be able to stay.
